We did a lot of celebrating with both families over the holidays. We were able to spend an early Christmas with Debra’s family up north in San Juan Bautista and then head down south to Orange on Christmas Eve. We were gone for 10 days making it a long trip with lots of fun memories.
Christmas on the Richards side was pretty busy with all the cousins running/crawling around nonstop. Mia has found her absolute best friend in cousin Rudy and they spent two days chasing eachother around the house trying to copy everything the other did. It was great to finally have all four cousins together at Grandma and Granpa’s house.
Christmas in Orange County brought its own excitement as well with Mia’s first trip to Disneyland. Grammy and Grandpa Romano gifted us tickets to Disneyland and so we took full advantage of them while we were down there. Mia had a blast! She loved the rides, even the tram to get to the park entrance from the parking garage was an exciting ride for her. She even managed to ride Pirates of the Carribean and thought that was fun. It was nice that the Romanos live so close to Disneyland we were able to take Mia home halfway through the day and let her nap. It was a really enjoyable experience for our first time at Disneyland with her despite the massive crowds and lines.
